After losing their jobs due to COVID, they decided to escape reality and camp in the serene mountains of Boone. Little did they know, their peaceful retreat would turn into a terrifying ordeal.
The couple encountered strange occurrences from the start, with their campsite mysteriously ransacked overnight. But that was just the beginning. The following day, the woods that had been teeming with hikers became eerily deserted, leaving Rob and Susan completely isolated.
As tensions rose, they found themselves bickering and growing irritable, further adding to the unsettling atmosphere. Seeking space from each other, Rob went to the creek alone, only to encounter a shocking sight – his wife appearing in front of him, seemingly not having heard him earlier. Confusion turned to horror when a doppelganger charged towards him. Thankfully, the real Susan appeared just in time to save him.
Fleeing for their lives, the couple ran for miles, leaving their belongings behind. Their escape only led to more bizarre discoveries, with Susan now exhibiting odd changes, making Rob question if she’s still the same person.
