She is eventually expelled from school and sent to a military boarding school, only to be abandoned by her family when she needed them the most. Desperate and isolated, she falls into a destructive lifestyle of substance abuse and alcoholism.

Years later, after losing touch with her sister, Summer receives a call about Hope’s tragic demise in a hotel room. Upon entering the room to collect her belongings, Summer feels an overwhelming darkness and a chilling presence. As she enters the bathroom, she comes face to face with the same entity that haunted them years ago, now smiling sinisterly in the mirror.
